Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role involves managing a defined sales territory within the wholesale plumbing market, focusing on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving sales growth.

Role is 100% Remote, but does require employee to live in the San Jose Area.

Responsibilities

Sales & Territory Development

• Manage and grow a defined sales territory in the wholesale plumbing market.
• Conduct regular sales calls with plumbing distributors, contractors, builders, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration within assigned accounts.
• Create and execute a territory sales plan to maximize product representation and revenue.

Account Management

• Maintain strong relationships at all levels of the customer organization-including counter staff, purchasing, showroom personnel, and decision-makers.
• Deliver ongoing product support, training, and technical knowledge to distributor partners.
• Provide consistent follow-up, communication, and customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Present and implement merchandising, marketing, and promotional programs to drive sales.

Product Training & Representation

• Represent the company at trade shows, distributor events, and industry functions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions, including certification classes where applicable.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for product lines carried within the territory.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with internal sales leadership, marketing teams, and manufacturer partners.
• Maintain accurate reporting, territory updates, call schedules, and sales activity documentation.
• Support organizational goals for revenue growth, product expansion, and customer engagement.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 per year
